Langport Young Peoples Centre (LYPC), also known locally as Langport and Huish Episcopi Youth Group (LHYG) provide recreational and leisure time activities for young people (range 8-25 yrs) in the Langport, Huish Episcopi and wider community with varied weekly and monthly sessions that offer life skills (eg cooking, go girls), sport, craft, community projects (town flags), war hammer.
Objects: To Advance In Life And Help Young People, Primarily In The 8-25 Age Range, Through:(a) The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life;(b) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.
