**Objects:** TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE, PRIMARILY IN THE 8-25 AGE RANGE, THROUGH:(A) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE;(B) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.

**Activities:** Langport Young Peoples Centre (LYPC), also known locally as Langport and Huish Episcopi Youth Group (LHYG) provide recreational and leisure time activities for young people (range 8-25 yrs) in the Langport, Huish Episcopi and wider community with varied weekly and monthly sessions that offer life skills (eg cooking, go girls), sport, craft, community projects (town flags), war hammer.
