ObjectsThe objects of the CIO are:(a) To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Faithin the Schedule hereto attached in Romsey and such parts of Hampshire,the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to timethink fit and to fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitableaccording to the law of England and Wales and are connected with thecharitable work of the charity;(b) To relieve persons who are in condition of need or hardship and who maybe aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby in Romsey andsuch parts of Hampshire, the United Kingdom or the world as the Trusteesmay from time to time think fit.AppendixStatement of BeliefsAs a Christian organisation we:celebrate God as Creator and sustainer of all lifeacknowledge Jesus Christ as Son of God and Lord of our livesbelieve that the Holy Spirit equips us to serve God in the Church and the worldAs people from various churches, we celebrate our dependence upon God and interdependencewith one another, as we seek to work together in sharing the Gospel with all people.We expect our staff and volunteers to be in sympathy with the Christian faith and to do everythingpossible to encourage others on their journey of faith.
