website which is due to go live in early 2023.
General marketing increased through the year via social
media, Mailchimp emails and regular website updates.
As churches moved closer to being fully open post-
pandemic this meant more re-connecting and supplying
resources and having pop-up shops. Outside events have
also seen an increase.
There was a a very successful three days at the New
Forest Show in the Church Marquee - fabulous sales,
conversations and making links with a wider audience.
Another three craft workshops (Christmas and Easter)
were held within the shop and were well-received by
attendees, several who had been to previous ones.
Great sales were made through Bookshop.org
25 Church Street was given grade 2 status in the autumn
and ongoing building works are taking place to preserve
our Tudor premises. The community of Romsey are
donating not only small change but larger amounts as they
recognise us in the town.

On the accounts for the year ended 31st December 2022

Respective Responsibilities of trustees and examiner: The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

Independent examiner’s statement: In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention
