Activities
The Foundation activities are to provide supportive funding to: (i) People who wish to train in the field of midwifery and health visiting (ii) People who (and projects which) promote and advance the issues prevalent throughout the post-natal care period. This support will be focussed in the North Wales area.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Advance Health For The Public Benefit:(i) Through The Training Of Existing And Future Health Professionals Who Wish To Specialise In The Field Of Health Visiting, By Making Grants To Such Individuals; And(ii) By Supporting Those Who Promote The Issues Prevalent In The Postnatal Period, By Making Grants To Such Individuals, Groups Or Organisations;the Intended Beneficiaries Are Those Members Of The Public Residing In The Following North Wales Local Authority Areas: Conwy County Borough Council, Gwynedd Council, Isle Of Anglesey County Council, Flintshire County Council, Denbighshire County Council And Wrexham County Borough Council. The Postnatal Period Is Broadly Defined As Relating To Or Denoting The Period After Childbirth.
