Para 1.17 | To further or benefit the residents of Iwade and the neighbourhood, without distraction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinion by associating the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and/or other organisations in a common effort to advance education and provide facility in the interest of social welfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objective of improving community life for Iwade residents. In furtherance of these objects but not otherwise, the charity trustees shall have power; to establish or secure the establishment of a community hub and to maintain or manage or cooperate with any statutory authority in the maintenance and meeting of such a hub for activities provided by the CIO in furtherance of the above objects. |

The organisation has continued the management of the community space for the residents of Iwade. The benefits to the public are by providing a public space for use by the local residents including supporting local business people by providing the facility. This has included making the venue available as a meeting space, for leisure space and social events. |

Para 1.20 | This year as been a difficult year due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. The trustees has ensured that the barn has remained in good order whilst closed to the public and that any grants available were applied for to ensure finances are healthy so that the venue was available when residents were able to return. The barn had limited opening during this period due to the limits imposed by government guidelines on social distancing but has successfully been open, when allowed, for use by local businesses and community groups. |

| Other | Whilst the Coronavirus pandemic has impacted the work of the charity trustees are still confident of its continuation and remain committed in ensuring the venue is available for residents. The impact of the pandemic is still being felt but barn users are now returning and the trust are confident that income will increase as confidence grows in people socialising in greater numbers and the Covid virus reduces. |
