Objects: 3.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are To Advance Such Exclusively Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Public (And In Particular The Communities Of The Manors Of Austwick, Newby (Higher And Lower Division) And Clapham In North Yorkshire) As The Trustees Shall In Their Discretion Think Fit, To Include In Particular (But Without Limitation) The Following:3.1.1 The Preservation For The Benefit And Education Of The Public Of Buildings Of Architectural And/or Historical Merit And The Conservation Of The Natural Environment (Particularly In The Designated Conservation Area Of Clapham In North Yorkshire);3.1.2 The Promotion Of Social Inclusion Within The Area Of Benefit By Relieving The Needs Of People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society (In This Article, "Socially Excluded" Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of One Or More Of: Financial Hardship Or Poverty; Youth Or Old Age; Physical Or Mental Ill-Health; Relationship And Family Breakdown; And / Or Housing That Does Not Meet Basic Habitable Standards); 3.1.3 The Relief Of Those Who Are Not Socially Excluded But Are Otherwise In Need By Reason Of Any One Or More Of The Factors Listed In Article 3.1.2 Above; And3.1.4 The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare.
