Chlldren's parties are ¥ery popular at the hall throughout the summer and wknter months. Although the local B￿kland 5th001 ha5 reduced its dependence on the hall It contlnues to contribute by usln8 tt perh)dlcally for 8ames •nd other actlvStbe5. Whllst Fo85 akn make wd use of the hall for fvrth¢r fundralsSng events for the school. Thi5 year saw the first Buckland Festlval weekend comblnlw Villap Open G•rdens wlth the School Summer Fete takin8 place at the hall. The Wl ￿MaIn loyal supporters and use the hall not ontyfor thelr meetlngs but also thelr popular monthly coffee mornin85 and the Bu¢kland Kit¢hen has r)e¥er Ixen tr￿￿er. Although fundralslng has proven thallenglng for all charftles. the hall contlnues to attrart donatlons and artfve Involvement In initlatlves to raise money through the villa8e Christm•s urd as well as hall-based events such as the ever-popular qulz nlghL The year has alx) seen slgnfficant 1rywo¥eff￿ftts Sn the gmund malntenano as well as the up8radln8 of the Iwts and swltches. ¢ritlcal to keeplng everythlng ￿t and safe.
