Clavering Players is an award winning amateur dramatic society that puts on three or four productions a year.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Performing Arts And To Further The Public Appreciation And Taste In The Said Arts By Presenting For Public Performance A Balanced Range Of Plays Of Artistic Merit.(2) The Protection And Preservation Of The Environment For The Benefit Of The Public By:(a) The Provision, Maintenance Or Improvement Of A Public Park, Recreation Ground, Open Space Or(b) The Provision Of Some Other Public Amenity.(3) To Assist And Further Such Charitable Institutions And Charitable Purposes As The Committee Shall From Time To Time Determine.
