Vulnerability Means People And Communitieswhose Life, Livelihood, Security Or Health Are At Risk.3.2 To Promote The Advancement Of Environmental Protection Andsustainable Development (Development Which Meets The Needs Of Thepresent Without Compromising The Ability Of Future Generations To Meettheir Own Needs) For The Benefit Of The Public By:- The Promotion Of Sustainable Means Of Achieving Economicgrowth And Regeneration,- The Relief Of Poverty And The Improvement Of The Conditions Oflife In Socially Deprived And Disadvantaged Communities, And- Supporting The Preservation, Conservation And Protection Ofthe Natural Environment And The Prudent Use Of Resources.3.3 To Promote Human Rights (As Set Out In The Universal Declaration Ofhuman Rights And Subsequent United Nations Conventions Anddeclarations) Throughout The World By All Or Any Of The Following Means:- Monitoring Abuses Of Human Rights;- Obtaining Redress For The Victims Of Human Rights Abuse;- Relieving Need Among The Victims Of Human Rights Abuse;- Research Into Human Rights Issues;- Educating The Public About Human Rights;- Providing Technical Advice To Government And Others Onhuman Rights Matters;- Contributing To The Sound Administration Of Human Rights Law;- Commenting On Proposed Human Rights Legislation;- Raising Awareness Of Human Rights Issues;- Promoting Public Support For Human Rights;- Promoting Respect For Human Rights Among Individuals Andcorporations;- International Advocacy Of Human Rights;- Eliminating Infringements Of Human Rights3.4 To Promote Active Citizenship For The Public Benefit, In Particular Butnot Exclusively Working With Students And Young People, By Helpingthem To Gain Awareness Of Contemporary Social And Economic Issues,and Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Themto Participate Fully And Actively In Society As Independent Andresponsible Individuals3.5 To Advance Education In The Field Of Sustainable Development,poverty And Citizenship.
