Leicester Pride is a community based charity with a primary focus on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The charity's main aim is to promote understanding and acceptance of the Gay community with in this area also encompassing the Heterosexual community so as to foster good relations.
Objects: To Promote Equality And Diversity, Advance Education And Eliminatediscrimination In Relation To Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual And Transgender (lgbt)people, In Particular But Not Exclusively Those Resident In Leicester For ,the Benefitof The Public By Raising Awareness In Issues Affecting Said Persons In Particularby Promoting And Staging An Annual LGBT Festival And Making Grants And/ordonations To Other Charitable And Voluntary Organisations With The Object Ofdeveloping An Environment In Favour Of LGBT Equality By Providing Information,advice And Support.
