To establish and secure the establishment of a community centre in Crowborough and to manage and maintain it whether alone or in conjunction with any local authority or other person or body in order that individuals and groups achieve their potential, share experiences and expertise, overcome barriers and build an integrated and supportive community.

Objects: (A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Town Of Crowborough And Thecivil Parishes Of Buxted, Rotherfield And Withyham And The Neighbourhood(hereinafter Called "The Area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexualorientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associatingtogether The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Otherorganisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Providefacilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Timeoccupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Saidinhabitants;(b) To Establish, Or Secure The Establishment Of, A Community Centre (Hereinaftercalled "The Centre") And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Oron Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Body) In Furtherance Of Theseobjectives;(c) To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes As May From Time To Time Bedetermined.
