Activities

We are a UK network of practitioners, policy makers and researchers working with children and young people who are at risk, or who have experience of, sexual exploitation, and their families and carers. We offer support and advice; support research and policy development informed by practice; organise practitioners seminars and facilitate the sharing of learning via the internet.

Objects: To Promote, Enable, Support And Develop The Protection Of Children And Young People Who Are Affected By Sexual Exploitation, Human Trafficking And Modern Slavery And The Relief In Need Of Such Persons Affected In Such Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Directors From Time To Time May Think Fit, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: 1. Providing A Forum For Projects Or Organisations Concerned With The Relief Of Children And Young People Who Are Suffering Because Of Sexual Exploitation, Modern Slavery; 2. Providing Links Into Current Research, Policy And Project Developments Within The Field Of Sexual Exploitation, Modern Slavery Of Children And Young People And Offering Opportunity For Examples Of Good, Bad And Developing Practice To Be Shared And Discussed; 3. Encouraging The Coordination Of Different Approaches And Aiming To Contribute To The Development Of A Coordinated Policy And Practice Concerning Children And Young People At Risk Of Or Suffering Sexual Exploitation, Modern Slavery; 4. Encouraging A Child Centred Practice That Recognises And Respects Diversity; 5. Developing An Appropriate Support Network For Services Working With Children And Young People At Risk Of Or Experiencing Sexual Exploitation, Modern Slavery; 6. Enabling The Charity To Be Heard As A Collective Group Of Projects And Organisations Working In The Field Of Sexual Exploitation, Modern Slavery; 7. Assisting In The Eradication Of The Sexual Exploitation And Modern Slavery Of Children And Young People
