Activities

The provision of a day care centre and care for those service users that attend the centre suffering from Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. From 2009, the centre now also provides domiciliary care for its members. The centre's activities are aimed at young adults from North Staffordshire and adjoining areas.

Objects: 3.1 To Promote The Welfare, Well Being And Social Inclusion Of Vulnerable Groups Who Are Socially Disadvantaged Arising As A Result Of; Physical And / Or Learning Disability, Mental Health Needs, Older Age, Illness And, Allied Conditions.3.2 To Provide; Cause To Be Provided Or Assist In Providing Facilities:-3.2.1 For The Establishment Of Special Day And Residential Centres For The Treatment, Education And Training Of Persons From Vulnerable Groups (As Per Our Objects).3.2.2 For The Vocational Training Of Suitable Cases Under The Provision Of The Disabled Persons (Employment) Act 1944 And In Conjunction With Training Centres, Schools And Colleges.3.2.3 To Invite The Active Co-Operation Of Members Of The Medical Profession, Ancillary Medical Services, Teaching Professions, Government Departments, Local Authorities, Universities, Education Institutions, Hospital Training Institutions And Colleges, Research Foundations And Disabled Welfare Organisations And All Or Any Other Bodies Or Individuals Considered Appropriate In The Fulfilment Of The Objects Of The Organisation.3.2.4 For The General Social Welfare For All Such Persons And For The Making Of Contracts With, Advising And Assisting Parents And Those Caring For Them.3.2.5 For The Taking Of All Measures To Assist Those From Vulnerable Groups (As Per Our Objects) To Take Their Normal Place In The Community And To Help As Far As Is Possible To Become, Physically And Socially Independent.3.3 To Print Or Cause To Be Printed And Published, Leaflets, Pamphlets, Articles, Periodicals And Books Relating To The Objects Of The Association.3.4 To Watch And Assist In The Promotion Of Legislation Both Local And National, Affecting The General Interests Of People From Vulnerable Groups (As Per Our Objects
