The Association for Young People's Health is the UK's leading independent voice for youth health. We work to improve the health and wellbeing of 10-24 year olds by: Involving young people in our work, ensuring their voices are heardWorking with healthcare providersImproving accessPromoting evidence-based practiceIncreasing communication between practitioners from different sectors.
Objects: To Preserve And Protect The Health Of Young People And To Advance Education In The Health Of Young People, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:-1) Developing And Managing A Society For All Professionals And Organisations Working In The Field Of Young People's Health In The United Kingdom;2) Promoting Multi-Disciplinary Training And Education In Young People's Health;3) Providing A Credible And Inclusive Base For Advocacy For Improvements In Young People's Health And Services In Professional, Media And Political Arenas;4) Providing A Resource For The Dissemination Of Information On Young People's Health, Both Through The Publication Of A Journal And The Maintenance Of A High Quality Website;5) Supporting Research In Young People's Health By Providing A Network For Researchers By Fostering Strong Links Between Academic And Non-Academic Settings And By Maintaining A Database Of Current Research In This Field;6) Affiliating International Bodies Involved In Young People's Health.
