CancerCare is a unique local charity dedicated to helping local families affected by the impact of cancer and other life limiting conditions across North Lancashire and South Lakeland. We provide a wide range of free professional services including a number of psychological, complementary and creative therapies.

Objects: 3.1) To Relieve Sickness And Suffering Of Persons Facing Cancer And Other Chronic Or Life-Threatening Illnesses, And Of Their Carers, Families And Friends During And After Such Illness Or Illnesses.3.2) To Provide Or Assist In Providing Forms Of Therapies And Support Suitable To Meet Their Individual Needs.3.3) To Educate The Public In Order To Broaden Its Understanding And Knowledge Of Vital Aspects Of Cancer, Such As Prevention, Detection, Relief And Treatment.3.4) To Undertake Or Promote Research Into Prevention, Detection, Relief And Treatment And To Encourage The Dissemination Of The Useful Results Of Such Research For Public Benefit.
