Activities

The Trust raises funds in memory of Ciaran, who suffered from a genetic skin disorder called Keratitis-Ichthyosis-Deafness Syndrome (KID syndrome). The Trust aims to help people with similar conditions, as well as supporting research and promoting awareness about the difficulties of living with the multiple disabilities of blindness, deafness and skin disorders.

Objects: (1) To Assist In The Treatment And Care Of Persons Suffering From Keratitis-Ichthyosis-Deafness Syndrome ("Kid Syndrome"), Blindness, Deafness, Any Other Serious Skin Condition Or Genetic Disorder Through Provision Of Financial Assistance;(11) To Promote Scientific Research Into Kid Syndrome, Any Other Genetic Disorder And Any Condition Causing Blindness, Deafness Or Affecting The Skin Through Provision Of Financial Assistance; And(111) To The Advance The Education Of The Public About Kid Syndrome.
