COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS ARE TRAINED VOLUNTEERS WHO ATTEND EMERGENCY CALLS FOR THE AMBULANCE SERVICE, WHO CAN PROVIDE LIFE-SAVING TREATMENT TO PEOPLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY WHO ARE INJURED OR ILL, PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF AN EMERGENCY AMBULANCE.URGENT HELP IS VITALLY IMPORTANT IN LIFE-THREATENING CASES EG HEART ATTACKS, CARDIAC ARREST, CHOKING, BREATHING, LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS OR SEVERE BLOOD LOSS.
Objects: To Relieve Sickness And Preserve The Good Health Of Persons In Solihull And The Surrounding Areas But The Provision Of Trained And Equipped Volunteers. In Particular But Not Exclusively By Responding To Category A Medical Emergencies, As Directed By West Midlands Ambulance Service.
