Activities
Gloucester Foodbank's purpose is to relieve poverty and financial hardship, through the Food Bank Project. The project provides a temporary, stop-gap through food distribution to those who present in crisis. Free emergency food is provided for 3 days. The food is distributed in exchange for vouchers issued to individuals according to need by a number of local crisis agencies and social services.
Objects: For The Benefit Of The Community Of Gloucester And The Surrounding Area And Are To Be Undertaken With A Christian Ethos:-1) To Relieve Poverty And Financial Hardship2) To Advance Education; And3) To Promote And Protect Good Health.
