Activities
The Centre aims to provide diverse facilities for people in UK and abroad. Facilities will include social, economic, community cohesion and development. Provisions for education, training, and exhibitions will also be made available. The Centre is predicted to fulfil a variety of social and economic functions and to assist in the affirmation of cultural identity and plurality.
Objects: (I) The Advancement Of The Islamic Religion In Accordance With The Teachings Of The Holy Quran And Sunnah Of The Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh).(ii) To Promote Muslim Art, Culture And Heritage. Establish Art Galleries, Museums, Exhibition Centres And Libraries. Establish Links With Other Such Institutions, Hold Regular Cultural And Social Events. (Ii) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Greater Manchester Without Distinction Of Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And Provide Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.(iii) To Establish A Multipurpose Centre For Practical Advice, Training And Development, Sports And Recreation. To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local/national Authority Or Other Person Or Body) Capable Of Offering Residential Conference And Seminars Facilities, In Furtherance Of These Subjects.(v) To Promote Understanding Between Different Faith Groups And To Promote A Balanced And Moderate Understanding Of Islam. Facilitate Community Cohesion And Bring About A Positive Change In The Attitude Of Muslim Community And The Wider Community(vi) To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes As Any From Time To Time Be Determined.
