The charity promotes the conservation protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of Hollingbourne, provides for the regeneration improvement and maintenance of Eyhorne Meadow, and promotes recreational facilities by providing access to the meadow.
Objects: (A) (I) To Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of The Parish Of Hollingbourne, Kent, And(ii) To Promote The Conservation Of The Physical And Natural Environment By Promoting Biological Diversity, And (Iii) To Promote The Conservation Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of The Special Landscape Area Which Includes Part Of The Parish Of Hollingbourne, And Of The North Downs Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty Which Area Includes Part Of The Parish Of Hollingbourne.(b) To Provide For The Regeneration, Improvement And Maintenance Of Eyhorne Meadow And Cotuam's Meadow, Which Flank The Southern Entrance To Hollingbourne Village And Form The Gateway To Hollingbourne Conservation Area And Entry To The North Down Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.(c) To Promote Recreational Facilities In The Form Of Nature Trails, Walkways And Foot Paths By Providing Access To Freehold Or Lease Hold Property Held By The Charity Such Access To Be Made Available Without Charge To Residents Of Hollingbourne And To Any Other Person, And In A Manner Which Facilitates Such Access By Persons In Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement.
