Botanic Gardens Education Network promotes and advances the delivery of education in botanic gardens, parks and historic gardens. It helps raise awareness of plant diversity, conservation and role of plants in our daily lives, and makes links between people and plants around the world. BGEN works with families, schools groups and the wider community.

Advance The Public Education, Understanding And Knowledge About Biodiversity, Especially Plant Biodiversity And Its Importance, Particularly By Offering Professional Support And Training To Those Involved In Education About Biodiversity And The Natural Environment;2. Promote Research And The Dissemination Of Such Research And Information, For The Public Benefit, About Biodivrersity, The Natural Environment And Sustainable Management Of Natural Resources.
