Iraqi Association is a non-profit organisation that exists to enable Iraqis to settle andintegrate in this country, and with rights to express their cultural identity. Our work aimed at settled and vulnerable people. It is also our mission to raise awareness about relevant events in Iraq and the community integration process in this country.
Objects: To Promote Any Charitable Purpose Throughout The United Kingdom And Abroad As The Directors Of The Company See Fit But Mainly For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Greater London Area (And In Particular Iraqi People By Birth Or Descent) Without Distinction Of Gender; Sexual Orientation; Race; Political, Religious Or Other Opinions; By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Non-Profit Making Groups In A Common Effort To:(a) Advance Public Education Mainly By The Provision Of Training And Advice And/or Guidance On Such Issues Including: Welfare Rights, Housing And Immigration;(b) Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Said Peoples; And(c) Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre For The Benefit Of Such Peoples
