Activities
The main activities of the charity are the provision of pre-school education and all day child care for 2-4 year olds. Wraparound care is provided for primary school age children during term time. During school holidays the centre caters for children up to the age of 14. The centre also runs a toddlers group, a youth group and provides adult education courses.
Objects: 1. To Enhance The Development And Education Of Children Primarily Under Statutory School Age By Encouraging Parents To Understand And Provide For The Needs Of Their Children Through Community Groups And By:1.1 Offering Appropriate Play, Education And Care Facilities And Training Courses, Together With The Right Of Parents To Take Responsibility For And To Become Involved In The Activities Of Such Groups, Ensuring That Such Groups Offer Opportunities For All Children Regardless Of Race, Culture, Religion, Means Or Ability;1.2 Encouraging The Study Of The Needs Of Such Children And Their Families And Promoting Public Interest In And Recognition Of Such Needs;1.3 Instigating And Adhering To And Furthering The Aim Of The Pre-School Learning Alliance.2. To Educate Boys And Girls Up To School-Leaving Age Through Their Leisure Time Occupation So As To Develop Their Physical, Mental And Spiritual Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society And That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved.
