Activities
MERIDALE PROVIDES A MEETING PLACE AND FACILITIES FOR VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS. MERIDALE YOUTH CLUBS CATER FOR CHILDREN AGED 6 - 18+.EVERY YEAR MERIDALE HOSTS LARGE-SCALE COMMUNITY EVENTS - THESE ARE OFTEN ORGANISED AND RUN BY MEMBERS OF THE YOUTH CLUBS.DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, MERIDALE RUNS CLUBS FOR CHILDREN. THESE HAVE INCLUDED ARTS & CRAFTS, CIRCUS SKILLS, FIRST AID AND DANCE.
Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Meridale And The Neighbourhood Thereof (Hereinafter Called 'The Area Of Benefit') Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisation In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.
