Activities

The New Priestwood Community Association provides opportunities and a space for many local community groups to carry out a wide range of activities, ranging from groups in the Arts and education through to special interest groups. With advice and support from Bracknell Forest the Centre and Association have worked tirelessly to develop and extend the facilites to encourage use.

Objects: (A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Priestwood And Garth, Bracknell (Hereinafter Called "The Area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants;(b) Establish, Or Secure The Establishment Of, A Community Centre To Be Known As 'The Priestwood Centre' And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Person Or Body). In Furtherance Of These Objects(c) Promote Such Charitable Purposes As May From Time To Time Determinethe Association Shall Be Non-Party In Politics And Non-Sectarian In Religion
