The Derbyshire Association OF the Blind aims to enhance the quality of visually impaired peoples' lives by providing a comprehensive range of services and activities throughout Derbyshire.
Objects: 5. ObjectsThe objects (“Objects”) of the Company are the following:For the public benefit to:(a) Provide relief and support to people of all ages in need, whether by youth, age, ill health, financial hardship or other disadvantage and in particular those affected by sight loss (including people who are blind or partially sighted and people with dual sensory loss (deaf blind) and primarily (but not exclusively) to those people living in Derby and Derbyshire.(b) Advance education and promote understanding about eye health and sight loss; and(c) Prevent avoidable sight loss.
