To develop and broaden involvement in a whole range of initiatives for the benefit of local residents and to support voluntary and charitable work and organisations in Gateshead. Services provided include, employment advice and support, Multi purpose hall, Safety initiatives, Health initiatives and promotion, Supporting children and young people and Social housing.

Objects: The Charity's objects are to do all such things as are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales for the benefit of the public and in particular for the benefit of Jewish people living in the Borough of Gateshead and adjoining areas, including:(i) The provision of facilities for recreation and leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life, including the establishment and maintenance of a community centre;(ii) The relief of unemployment or financial hardship for the benefit of the public in such ways as may be thought fit including the provision of education, training and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient, and assistance to find employment;(iii) The promotion and support of voluntary and charitable organisations (provided that such promotion and support is for work that is exclusively charitable);(iv) The advancement of health and physical and mental wellbeing through the delivery of health services, and social care and health care education; and(v) The relief of those in need by reason of financial hardship or other disadvantage including through the provision and support of housing and any associated amenities for persons in necessitous circumstances upon terms appropriate to their means.
