Carmelite friars serve the community, directing a large retreat and conference centre at Aylesford, Kent, running parishes in Llanelli & Faversham a university chaplaincy in York and a number of more specialised apostolates.
Objects: For Such Charitable Purposes As Shall Advance The Religious And Other Charitable Work For The Time Being Carried On By Or Under The Direction Or With The Support Of The Carmelite Order In England And Wales Or Elsewhere As The Trustees With The Approval Of The Provincial Shall From Time To Time Think Fit And If At Any Time The Carmelite Order Shall Cease To Exist Or Shall Cease To Carry On Religious Or Other Charitable Work Then For Such Other Lawful Charitable Purposes Connected With The Advancement Of The Roman Catholic Religion As The Trustees Shall Determine
