To demonstrate that children and adults with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour is described as challenging can enjoy normal life opportunities when their behaviour is properly understood and appropriately supported, and to support parents and carers through education and information to enable this to happen.
Objects: To Relieve The Suffering And Distress Of Persons With Severe Learning Difficulties And Challenging Behaviour And Their Families And Carers: Challenging Behaviour - Behaviour Of Such Intensity, Frequency Or Duration That The Physical Saftey Of The Person, Or Others, Is Likely To Be Placed In Serious Jeopardy, Or Behaviour Which Will Limit Or Deny Access To The Community Or Impair A Child's Growth And Development
