County Durham Community Foundation promotes lasting charitable giving, by bringing together donors with their chosen causes, through well targeted grants that make a genuine difference to the lives of local people within the communities of County Durham & Darlington.
Objects: 2.1. The Charity is established for the support or promotion of:2.1.1. any charitable purposes for the relief of poverty (including training for employment or work) or any other charitable purpose for the benefit of the community with a preference to the community in the area of the County of Durham and Tees Valley and the North East2.1.2. such other exclusively charitable purpose in the United Kingdom and elsewhere which are in the opinion of the Trustees of benefit to the community including but not limited to the community in the area of the County of Durham and Tees Valley and the North East.2.2. This Article 2 may be amended by special resolution but only with the prior written consent of the Commission.
