As one of now 37 county trusts the WGT shares the common purpose of the identification, conservation and wellbeing of parks, gardens & green spaces. The WGT seeks to raise public awareness of these parks and gardens by promoting their appreciation through a programme of lectures, visits, seminars & newsletters. In addition looking to contribute to the nationwide database (init by the AGT).
Objects: To Promote The Education Of The Public In The Arts And Sciences Which Relate To Gardens And Parkland; And To Promote The Preservation, Enhancement And Re-Creation Of Such Gardens And Parkland.
