Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: - to identify and investigate the issues that support the progression of the local aspiration to protect and preserve the St Monans salt pans, tidal pool and immediate surrounding areas. This includes researching their historic, social and environmental significance. supporting and undertaking non-intrusive remedial work that safeguards their physical infrastructure. and promoting the value of these assets to local people and visitors of all ages and backgrounds. This includes the provision and protection of recreational space available to the community and visitors. - The group aims to enhance quality of life by addressing social needs, promoting mental and physical health and wellbeing, and fostering a sense of local pride. In furtherance of these purposes, the group will: - Consider options to safeguard the physical infrastructure of the salt pans and tidal pool from the impacts of climate change, including coastal erosion - Support research, articulation and presentation of the social, industrial and environmental heritage of the salt pans and tidal pool
