The East Neuk of Fife Preservation Society is established to preserve the architectural and historical heritage of the East Neuk of Fife, safeguard and improve local amenities, encourage pride in local traditions, and promote sensitive and sustainable development. We do this by raising awareness of local heritage, providing information and advice on conservation and planning matters, engaging with the planning process, supporting community heritage initiatives, and undertaking practical conservation and interpretation projects. We also promote understanding of the area’s heritage through talks, visits, publications and activities for members and the wider community.

Objectives: 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 to preserve the rich architectural and historical heritage of the burghs, villages and countryside of those parts of the East Neuk comprising the former burghs and parishes of Kilrenny & Cellardyke, Anstruther Easter, Anstruther Wester, Pittenweem, St Monans, Elie & Earlsferry, Kilconquhar, Carnbee, Newburn and Largo & Lundin Links. 4.2 to safeguard and improve the amenities of the area, stimulate pride in local traditions and encourage sensitive and sustainable development.
