The advancement of citizenship and community development by promoting equitable global partnerships, supporting responsible placements and encouraging respect, cooperation and active global citizenship. The advancement of health by supporting student engagement that contributes to improved health, wellbeing and social outcomes in resource-constrained environments and by working in partnership with communities to strengthen local systems. The relief of poverty by supporting income generation, skills development and community-led initiatives in Global South partner communities participating in elective placements.
