'the advancement of education','the advancement of citizenship or community development'

Legacy Association is set up to advance education and community development by connecting current students with alumni and making practical guidance freely available. We do this by researching, recording, editing and publishing alumni interviews about university life, careers, personal development and professional experience. During the period, the charity operated through student-led branch activity, mainly around Aberdeen, and developed a wider branch network. Volunteers gained experience in outreach, interviewing, research, communications, media production and digital operations. The charity also promoted its interview archive and volunteering opportunities through campus-facing activity, including university fairs and introductory engagement. All work was delivered by unpaid trustees, branch teams and volunteers, with no paid staff or payments during the period.
