Our Vision and Mission

Our Mission: To create equal opportunities for everyone in Scotland.

Our Goal: To improve the health and wellbeing of people in Tayside and across Scotland.

Our Aim: To work collaboratively with public, private, and third-sector organisations to enhance the health, social circumstances, and equality of ethnic minority groups.
Structure, Governance, and Management
TEEN operates under a formal constitution. Our leadership consists of five Trustees and two NonTrustee Board Members. Together, these seven members strategically oversee TEEN’s governance and management activities.
Our operational structure includes:

TEEN Boys and TEEN Girls groups
All members contribute their time and support to TEEN activities on a voluntary basis.
Key Activities (December 2024 – December 2025)
During our first year, we successfully delivered several initiatives:

Leadership: Established the TEEN Board and developed our first Annual Plan.

Health: Conducted mental health and wellbeing awareness sessions.

Prevention: Delivered a Type 2 Diabetes awareness and remission programme.

Youth Support: Provided educational guidance and work experience opportunities for children and young people.
These activities were primarily hosted in free community venues, including local mosques and community centres. Detailed reports for these activities are available upon request.
