## **TEEN Annual Report – December 2024 – December 2025** 

## **Our Vision and Mission** 

- Our Mission: To create equal opportunities for everyone in Scotland. 

- Our Goal: To improve the health and wellbeing of people in Tayside and across Scotland. 

- Our Aim: To work collaboratively with public, private, and third-sector organisations to enhance the health, social circumstances, and equality of ethnic minority groups. 

## **Structure, Governance, and Management** 

TEEN operates under a formal constitution. Our leadership consists of five Trustees and two NonTrustee Board Members. Together, these seven members strategically oversee TEEN’s governance and management activities. 

Our operational structure includes: 

- An Executive Group 

- TEEN Boys and TEEN Girls groups 

All members contribute their time and support to TEEN activities on a voluntary basis. 

## **Key Activities (December 2024 – December 2025)** 

During our first year, we successfully delivered several initiatives: 

- Leadership: Established the TEEN Board and developed our first Annual Plan. 

- Health: Conducted mental health and wellbeing awareness sessions. 

- Prevention: Delivered a Type 2 Diabetes awareness and remission programme. 

- Youth Support: Provided educational guidance and work experience opportunities for children and young people. 

These activities were primarily hosted in free community venues, including local mosques and community centres. _Detailed reports for these activities are available upon request._

As a newly established charity in its first year of operation, our primary focus was on community impact rather than fundraising. 

- Status: We have successfully opened a dedicated bank account. 

- Donations: To date, we have received a single donation of £50 from one of our Trustees.
