'the advancement of education','the advancement of citizenship or community development','the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

Our charity support community, by offering educational and cultural programs. We teach Kurdish and English languages, run dance classes, organize children and family activities, and host community meetings to reduce social isolation. Through these initiatives, we aim to strengthen social connections, preserve cultural identity, and promote wellbeing within our community

Objectives: The organisation’s purposes are: a) To advance community development by offering a range of activities that will bring together individuals and families from the Kurdish community. The aim of these activities will be to improve the community’s wellbeing and help people who are new to Scotland resettle, as they are often affected by the asylum and refugee process. b) To advance the Kurdish heritage and culture by providing opportunities for the wider community to come together and celebrate our lost traditions and celebrations. We will encourage people from other communities to join with us and learn about our culture through activities such as music and song, dance and costume. c) To advance education by providing literacy classes which will be open and taught by people from the Kurdish community. The purpose of these classes will be to empower and give people further opportunity to embrace their culture.
