Objectives: The organisation’s purposes are: a) To provide recreational facilities, and organise recreational activities, open primarily to all residents of Nether Lochaber, without distinction, with the object of improving the conditions of life within the community. Visitors to the village hall from outside the area will also be welcomed. b) The village hall will also provide its users with a meeting place in which to foster community spirit and cohesion, in what is a very spread out community stretching alongside the busy A82 trunk road. As well as recreational activities, there will be the opportunity for educational, social and cultural activities and other community centred activities. c) To manage the Nether Lochaber Village Hall SCIO for the furtherance of the above purposes, and to maintain the hall, its equipment and grounds for the benefit of all the residents of the community.
