During the reporting period, Menstrual Rights Global SCIO operated as a contributions-led global network, bringing together the expertise, leadership and commitment of trustees, advisers, volunteers and partners working across multiple countries. The organisation's activities were made possible through significant in-kind contributions of professional time, technical expertise, leadership and operational support. The charity did not receive grant funding, donations or other income during the reporting period. Core operational costs, including website hosting, domain services, email services, software licences and other administrative expenses, were personally met by trustees and were not reimbursed by the charity.
Despite operating without external funding, Menstrual Rights Global continued to advance its charitable purposes through policy engagement, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, international convening and volunteer leadership. This contributions-led model has enabled the charity to maintain a global presence while keeping financial overheads to a minimum and directing its efforts towards systems change, advocacy and collaboration.
The trustees remain committed to securing sustainable funding to support the charity's long-term development, while continuing to build on the collaborative model that has enabled Menstrual Rights Global to establish a growing international network and contribute to policy and practice across menstrual health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, climate and social development.
