Our cast members are all involved throughout the year whether rt be directly singing and dancing on stage to helping in dressing rooms, building props or helping backstage. We provide a safe environment by rehearsing IMice per week at a local primary school along with all volunteers working wrth the children age 9 to 18 being PVG checked. Visits to other local groups to watch their shows are arranged lo provide the cast members with further insight and we believe this helps with their stage presence by watching and learning from others on stage.

APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period Our company was originally formed back in 1982 as a not-for-profit community interest group, however from March 2024 we finally became fvlly SCIO registered. Our biggest Spring production so far- The Wizard of Oz performed to perfection in April 2024 generating a fantastic income. This was also the first large musical performed using an extemal producer named Concord Theatricals. We also hired all costumes from a local company called Utopia. instead of buying them outright to ensure all costumes fitted well with the script presented lo us. The children exceeded our expectations with every performance, and they were the talk of the town due to excellent effects used in the show along wilh outstanding talent. Our local newspaper also published an arbcle along with many pictures tsken on our opening night. A large part of our income has been funded from grants received throughout 2024-2025 some of which included Robertson Trust, Amold Clark and Community Schools Grant. Our fundraising consisted of a prize bingo in May which was a great success. Other fundraising has come from our shows which we generated from our raffles and tuck shop sales. Our 2nd show held in Nov 2024 - Jack & The Beanstalk exceeded any other income from any other show previously perfonned which we very proud of. We taken the cast members to see Beauty & The Beastie Panto in Glasgow in Jan 2025 free of charge and paid for the bus to allow them to enjoy watching a panto instead of always being performing in one. They all absolutely loved rt!
