The Organisation's Purposes are.. 5.1 The advancement of heritage and culture by preserving and conserving the Former Lyceum Cinema as a building of historic, cultural and architectural interest. 5.2 The advancement of citizenship and communty development (including urban regeneration) through the provision of services and activities that contribute to the social. cultural and build regeneralion of the Community. 5.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational, social and cultural activities with the object of imDrovina the condikn'ons of lrfe for the whole Communifv. During the reporting period, the Organisation focused on advancing its charitable purposes, particularly the preservation of heritage and the promotion of community development. Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects The main activity of the year was securing the Community Right lo Buy for the Former Lyceum Cinema, a building of historic, cultural and architectural interest. This was successfully granted in October 2025. In support of this, the Organisation carried out extensive community engagement, securing over 500 signatures from local residents. These activities supported the Organisation's aims of heritage preservation, community development and the creation of future recreational, social and cultural opportunities for the local communty. Financial review Brief statement of the charity's policy on reserves The trustees have considered the Organisation's policy on reserves. At the end of the reporting period, the Organisation held no reserves and had no income or expendtture during the year. Given the cuent stage of the Organisation's development and its focus on securing the Community Right to Buy. the trustees consider this position to be appropriate at this time.
