Sakoon Mind SCIO is a lived experience-led mental health and wellbeing charity working to reduce stigma, improve wellbeing and increase access to culturally sensitive support for people of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on South Asian and ethnically diverse communities. We provide safe, welcoming spaces through workshops, peer support, community events, wellbeing activities and educational programmes that encourage open conversations about mental health. Our work promotes early intervention, social connection, resilience and inclusion, helping individuals build confidence and improve emotional wellbeing. We work in partnership with local organisations, community groups and public services to reach those who may face barriers to accessing support. Sakoon Mind is committed to creating healthier, more connected communities across Scotland.
