The organisation advances education and the arts, heritage, culture or science by funding the Collaborative Practice Pilgrimage (CPP), a travel grant of up to £3,000 for one group of three or four Architecture students at the University of Strathclyde. CPP enables students to design and undertake a pilgrimage to study the completed works of an architect or practice. Applications are invited each spring, followed by review and interviews before one group is selected. Recipients provide a photo essay and at least five collaborative outputs capturing their learning, which the charity may use, including for fundraising. CPP helps students develop architectural knowledge, skills, creativity and collaboration, benefiting their studies, future careers and the wider architectural community.
