The charity is set up to advance the Orthodox Christian faith. It does this by providing physical space and liturgical items required for the celebration of Orthodox liturgical worship. It supports religious, cultural and philanthropic activities according to Scottish law and the traditions of the Orthodox Church. This is done through sermons, lectures, discussion groups, catechism classes and publications. We support youth groups and daily meetings and services where people can gather and develop their spiritual life.

Objectives: The objects of the Charity (the ' Objects') are by such means as are charitable in law for the public benefit to advance the Orthodox Christian Faith within the country of Scotland, in accordance with the Charities and Trustees Investment Scotland Act 2005. The Charity is open to all individuals regardless of their religious background, gender, age, sexual orientation, nationality or race.
