Set up to 1) manage Boreland Village Hall for the community, 2) manage windfarm community benefit funding, 3) providing social and recreational events for community members, 4) take forward projects in line with our annual plan for the benefit of the community. We do this by 1) managing, maintaining and promoting Boreland Village Hall, 2) administering and promoting the community's windfarm funds, 2) organising social and other events, 4) identifying, planning and progressing projects for community benefit.

Objectives: 4 The SCIO's purposes are to benefit principally the Hutton community which comprises of the properties listed on the register attached (Appendix 1) ('the Community') with the following objects: 4.1 The distribution of Community Benefit Funds from Windfarm monies and/or funds from other sources within the Hutton Community to undertake projects and/or activities which meet the criteria agreed by the SCIO and the donor and which fall within the SCIO?s other objects. 4.2 The advancement of citizenship and community development, including the advancement of rural regeneration principally within the Community. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 4.4 The advancement of education. 4.5 The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture and science. 4.6 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement. But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
