The charity is set up to connect academics, policymakers, and industry to support the energy transition which leads to other macroeconomic benefits and positive societal outcomes. The output will be an academic journal published freely online and the editor is one of the trustees who volunteers his time.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: 4 The organisation's purpose is to educate the public, academics, and policymakers through an academic journal, Journal of Technoeconomics. The journal will also sponsor conferences and white papers meant to improve the general welfare through easing of the energy trilemma. Essentially, our societies are simultaneously beginning to hit environmental, energy, and economic constraints. These constraints have a disproportionate impact on lower-income members of society. The charitable focus of these research programmes is aimed at educating ways in which easing these constraints will (i) prevent and relieve poverty ? by educating on routes to ease the trilemma and thereby easing pressures on lower-income households. (ii) advance environmental protection ? by educating on forms of clean technology that can be utilised in an economically-efficient manner.
