The purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian Faith and the relief of poverty and other social needs. The aims of the Church are in line with it's Mission Statement - 'Serving Christ, Serving One Another and the Community'. The Church is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Scotland. The Church furthers it's charitable purposes through it's grant-making policy which aims to make grants from it's voluntary income to individuals and organisations that are generally known to the Trustees and the Church. The beneficiaries are involved in activities or ministries compatible with the Church's objectives. Besides running regular Sunday services we also are actively involved in supporting and serving our local community. We are actively involved in both schools and nursing homes and we run a twice weekly mother and toddler group and organise monthly local litter picks.
