The purpose of the Charity is to promote the benefits, primarily, to the ethnic minority inhabitants of East Dunbartonshire without distinction of the sex, sexual orientation, race, political, religious belief, belonging to any voluntary and other organization, in a common effort to: 1. Promote equality of opportunity between persons of different racial groups and to promote elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race. 2. Promote racial harmony 3. Encourage good relations between persons of different races It achieves this by holding events, having regular meetings and providing facilities to the the beneficiaries especially in acquiring the use of the Milan Day Centre on a regular basis.
